Wood Fiberboard is used for tackboards, partitions, and as backing material for stretched-fabric wall panel systems. It is economical and well suited for use in situations where impact resistance and/or tackability are needed and some acoustical performance is needed. Does not possess the same environmentally safe qualities as ReCore®
It is available in full sheets (48” x 96”), or in quarter sheets (24” x 48”) sold six to a bundle. Quarter sheets are convenient to handle. They are easy to carry, fits in stair wells, elevators and through doorways. They can be shipped less expensively.
Fiberboard is made of wooden fibers that are bonded together with an adhesive into rigid sheets. Contact us for additional information. Actual NRC rating and Surface Burn Characteristics Test Data vary by manufacturer.
