Because of their high-impact plastic frame and “floating fabric” design, they will stay looking good for years to come. IPS Modular Panels can even be ordered with or without fabric. Little differences make all the difference. IPS Modular Panels consist of an environmentally responsible backing material made from 65% post consumer waste. It is acoustical, tackable, impact resistant, VOC (volatile organic compound) free, light in weight and very strong. It is surrounded by a sturdy high-impact plastic frame which captures the substrate on all sides providing necessary rigidity and protecting the edges of the panel from damage. Fabric is stretched across the panel and inserted into the frame’s hidden-channel where it is held firmly in place. The fabric is free-floating over the surface of the panel. This virtually eliminates all visible damage that may occur when the panel is hit or otherwise impacted. Other manufactures provide recommendations on how to repair panel damage. We design them so that the chances of damage are substantially reduced. Recommended permanent mounting methods vary by surface and application. Contact our technical staff for more information.
