Our Modular Magnetic Panel Kits combine the best features of our Pre-made Panels and Site-Fabricated System - Ease of Installation and Customization - to give you incredible fabric wall panels up to any length. Best of all, no matter the size, your magnetic tackable panel kit comes shipped in a standard shipping box, greatly reducing delivery costs.
Your Modular Panel Kit consists of pre-made panel sections called Ends and Fields. Every panel kit includes 2 End sections and the appropriate number of Field sections needed (if any) to create the desired panel length. These sections are installed next to each other on a wall to form the panel. The Fabric is stretched across the panel and installed using the supplied fabric installation tools. The Modular Panel System makes it possible to receive panels 4'x4' and longer that are easy to install while greatly reducing shipping costs.
Fabricmate® Modular Magnetic Tackable Panels are perfect for Classrooms, Hallways, Lobbies, Libraries, Conference Rooms, Offices, Residential spaces and any place where magnetic panels with a long uninterrupted length are needed to provide a magnetic and tackable surface. Using your own fabric can be a great option for those looking to take their Modular Panel customization to the next level. A majority of designer fabrics work very well with our system but we always recommend either sending your fabric to us to test or ordering a Compatibility Sample to test it out yourself. We are always happy to help out since we are very familiar with many fabric types and have years of experience in testing different fabrics. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have about your fabric!
RECORE BACKING: BUILT SMART, BUILT SAFE
As our most popular backing, Classic-Line® 1/2" ReCore® Products are a great balance of functionality and aesthetics. Replace crumbling cork boards, enhance speech intelligibility and enjoy the benefits of thermal insulation and wall protection.

FABRIC MOUNTING FRAME: SAFE AND DURABLE
Our NEW 1/2" FP200 - Beveled Front-Load Panel Frame offers a stylish beveled or square edge and is often the choice where a magnetic and tackable solution is sought. This profile option produces aesthetically pleasing edges. It can be used to make standalone panels using a rigid 1/2 inch substrate such as our ReCore® 1/2" Tackable & Acoustical Backing. New Glue Grooves improve adhesion to wall surfaces when using adhesives. It’s front loading feature allows it to be placed up against almost any surface including walls, door moldings, and more!
INSTALLATION HARDWARE: DRYWALL SCREWS
Modular panel sections can be easily mounted to most wall surfaces using standard drywall screws which are included with every panel kit.
TACKABILITY
Our Modular Tackable Magnetic Panels are a great option to replace old crumbling cork boards. Our ReCore® panel backing is eco-friendly, tackable, and self-healing (will accept pushpins without leaving holes) and with our added MagTack® layer underneath, the panel becomes magnetically receptive allowing you to post documents using magnets. They are a great alternative to typical magnetic boards that do not offer tackable functionality. In order for your Magnetic Tackable panels to function properly your fabric choice will also need to be tackable, self-healing and not too thick. Fabrics that are coated or are adhered to a backing may not be self-healing and will leave holes when a pushpin is inserted and removed. Thicker fabrics may diminish the magnet's ability to hold documents to the panel. Make sure the fabric you want to use on your panel is not too thick and is self-healing. MAGNETIC
Our Magnetic panel option is ideal for anyone looking for an appealing Panel that can also be used with magnets (we recommend Rare Earth Magnets for best results). We have successfully held up to 12 pieces of standard copy paper using one pawn magnet without issue. Our Magnetic & Tackable panels are perfect for posting up posters, certificates, photographs and other important documents without having to puncture them with a pushpin. With a custom fabric covering they are so much more attractive than regular white magnetic boards and can more easily blend in with your existing decor. Fabrics that are too thick may diminish the magnet's ability to hold documents in place on the panel.
